William M. Sykes
Wellshire Behavioral Services is proud to introduce Dr. William M. Sykes a Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychiatrist. Dr. Sykes completed medical school and a pediatric internship and residency in Denver, did his residency in psychiatry for two years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and then returned to Denver for a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. At the conclusion of his formal training in 1976, he became the Director of Consultation/Liaison at the Children’s Hospital in Denver and established a part-time practice of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Establishing his private practice in 1980, Dr. Sykes has practiced in numerous states, most recently closing his successful practice in Hawaii. Bill and his wife, Karen, have recently decided to return to Denver, their home, for the remainder of their careers.
As a seasoned prescriber, Dr. Sykes is able to skillfully provide medication management as well as an eclectic array of therapies which are tailored to each patient’s unique needs. He has a well-documented history of working with pediatricians, school counselors, and family doctors.
